Safari in Wayanad wildlife sanctuary
Forest department offers a 15 km limited safari inside the national park. There are two sessions each day First session is from 7 a.m to 10 a.m; while the second session usually ranges from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Only a limited number of vehicles are allowed inside the forest each day. There is huge possibility for wildlife sights if you choose for an early morning safari. However, availability of safari is highly depends on climate conditions and decisions from forest officials.
